Women take the decision to re-invent their wardrobe for many reasons - they may have lost a lot of weight, broken up with their partner or even just decided to make a fresh start. However not all of us have the budget required to fill up our wardrobes with designer clothing or Louboutin shoes.
Don't fret though, as there are some ways in which to build a new wardrobe on a budget.
Firstly - and don't flinch - you can scour the second-hand shops for some great bargains. Don't go in thinking everything's smelly or worn out, because there can be some real good buys on offer if you're prepared to hunt a bit. Many celebrities swear by second-hand shops to find vintage items they'd never get anywhere else, so if they can do it, so can you!
Secondly, why not consider take the time to compare shoe prices online? If you've spotted a pair you really want, and are so in love that you can't bear not buying them, then compare prices online to make sure you get the best deal. This is also a great way to discover other pairs you hadn't ever stumbled upon before.
Next, think about holding a swapping night with your friends. The idea is that you invite your friends over and tell them to bring two or three pieces of clothing. You too will provide clothing, and you can each swap one-for-one with each other. This is a great way to find something new without spending anything, and also an excuse for a good girlie gossip whilst you're at it.
Lastly, it's not as shameful as you might think to hit the car boot sales in your area. You can really find some hidden gems if you stick around long enough. Plus, tops usually start at around £2 - a bargain and a half.
